Job summary

Abbott’s Auto Care & Tire is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to perform tire installation and maintenance, steering and suspension, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostics and routine maintenance. You’ll be key to daily operations and customer satisfaction in our fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in automotive maintenance or repair, must have own tools.
• Solid understanding of automotive systems; experience with PC-based diagnostic tools and/or digital inspections is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs to meet customer expectations.
• Test drives vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid flushes/replacements, belts/hoses, battery testing and installation.
• Conduct thorough visual inspections and document findings.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of shop equipment and assist with shop operations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and keep the sales area clean and professional.
• Collaborate with Store Manager, Service Advisors and team to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate dependability, accountability and an upbeat attitude in a busy shop environment.
