Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced service environment. Under supervision, you will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and customer consultations, contributing to quality workmanship and tire and vehicle care.

The position offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for first-time hires and a flat-rate pay model ranging from $20.00 to $31.25 per hour, with opportunities for ASE certification and continuous

Qualifications

• Must have valid automobile drivers license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, inspections, repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience (preferred).
• ASE certification or equivalent external qualifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years (tests/fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed).
