Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician for our service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under guidance of senior techs, with hands-on learning and customer interaction to explain procedures.

The role features a flat-rate pay model, a $1,500 sign-on bonus for first-time hires, and opportunities to earn ASE certifications through company support.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Two years automotive repair experience or related vocational training preferred, ASE certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts and accessories.
• Road test vehicles and verify repairs.
