Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Norristown, PA, seeks an Automotive Technician to join our service team, learning to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under experienced mentors. You will participate in routine inspections, assist in repairs, and communicate with customers about repair procedures and timing.

This role offers flat-rate pay with regional variation, opportunities to earn ASE certifications, and benefits including health care, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
