Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Baton Rouge seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under guidance of senior techs. You will learn hands-on, perform maintenance, and interact with customers to explain procedures and ensure quality service.

The role features flat-rate pay with a range of $15.75 to $23.67 per hour, and opportunities for ASE certifications supported by the company, plus strong benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and braking systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and parts installation.
• Road test vehicles and ensure quality workmanship.
• Pursue A.S.E. certifications within two years (fees paid by company).
