Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Metairie seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, with hands-on training under experienced technicians. You will participate in inspections, assist with repairs, and communicate repair details to customers to ensure high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a performance-based flat-rate pay model with region-based rates.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license required.
• Experience with oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Road test vehicles.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and provide quality service.
