Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Automotive Lube Technician in Onalaska, WI. You will learn to perform line technician services, inspections, diagnostics, and routine maintenance while delivering excellent guest service.

Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $23.00 per hour, with fast-track promotion after 90 days for motivated candidates and ongoing training to advance your career in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and brake repairs
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Report any safety issues immediately to management
• Promote teamwork to deliver times and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Maintain strict adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting
