Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Automotive Technician in Tempe, AZ to perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, building trust and loyalty with customers.

You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, conduct multi-point inspections, and communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to ensure safety and reliability while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Must have 3+ years of experience and relevant training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training and certifications as required by store needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per repair order and standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety and reliability improvements.
• Document work performed on repair orders and maintain tool inventory.
