Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Skilled Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. You will communicate with Parts and Service Advisors, diagnose issues, and conduct multi-point inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional customer experience, paying attention to detail, and maintaining up-to-date training through OEM certifications and factory classes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician preferred.
• Automotive technical training or certifications (vary by store) wanted.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and repair if customer approval is obtained.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make safety recommendations for customer vehicles.
• Document work performed on each vehicle and maintain tool inventory for special tools.
