Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.

The technician will inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of systems, conduct routine maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering excellent customer service. Collaboration with management and mentorship of junior staff are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and automotive training.
• Minimum one year related experience preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, or safety needs.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks including engine, brakes, and suspension repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manuals to diagnose and repair complex issues.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct test drives and quality checks to verify repairs.
• Maintain thorough inspection records per procedures.
• Communicate repair recommendations and estimates to customers.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Mentor junior technicians and apprentices as needed.
