Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles at our Ohio locations. You will diagnose issues, perform engine and brake work, and ensure safety standards are met while delivering quality service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training preferred.
Active driver's license required and clean driving record.
Minimum 1 year related automotive experience preferred.
ASE or other relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or safety needs.
Perform engine, brake, suspension, and other repairs per manufacturer specs.
Use diagnostic equipment and manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
Carry out routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes.
Explain repair recommendations and estimates to customers.
Maintain accurate inspection records and test-drive vehicles as needed.
Mentor junior technicians and apprentices as required.
Adhere to OSHA and safety policies and keep the work area organized.
