Leeds West Groups in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on cars and light trucks. You will diagnose issues, perform inspections, and ensure work meets safety and manufacturer standards.

This full‑time position requires teamwork, customer service, and attention to detail. You will work with modern diagnostic tools, stay current with industry advances, and contribute to a high‑quality service experience while supporting store goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of automotive technical training preferred.
• ASE or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or safety concerns.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine, brake, suspension repairs and routine services.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and manuals to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive problems.
• Explain repair recommendations to customers and provide estimates.
• Maintain thorough inspection records and ensure safety compliance.
