Job summary

Princeton Sunoco is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, using diagnostic software and extensive knowledge of vehicle systems. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

You will perform routine maintenance, complex repairs, and keep detailed service records while communicating clearly with customers about repairs and timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school certification acceptable.
• ASE/SAE certification or Master mechanic preferred.
• Experience with diagnosing vehicles using diagnostic tools and computer software.
• Ability to work on all makes/models and perform routine to complex repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles using diagnostic tools and knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake service.
• Explain repair needs clearly to customers and provide recommendations.
• Maintain technical documentation and service procedures.
