Job summary

RadNet, Inc. seeks a Technician responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing tire and automotive services while ensuring an excellent customer experience. You will explain diagnoses to customers and co-workers, stay updated with evolving automotive tech, and mentor peers.

The role emphasizes safety, organization, and continuous learning in a fast-paced shop environment. The position requires high school completion, at least 1 year of hands-on automotive experience, ASE certifications

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 2+ ASE certifications (A4 Steering and Suspension & A5 Brakes) preferred.
• Section 609 certification preferred.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications — brake and hydraulic, exhaust, basic electrical, cooling system, suspension and alignment, perform all maintenance services.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals who may include employees and customers.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with automotive technology.
• Assist fellow technicians in performing technical activities.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules.
