Job summary
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers by utilizing a mechanical aptitude to diagnose technical issues while delivering outstanding service.
This role offers training, opportunities for advancement, and a fast-paced environment with room to grow in brakes, alignments, diagnostics, and tire installation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Document all work performed on the repair order.
- Provide excellent guest service with clear communication and vehicle feedback.
- Mentor junior automotive technicians and promote teamwork during all operating hours.
- Follow safety policies and company procedures in all tasks.
