Job summary

Grease-Monkey is seeking an Experienced Technician C for our Mobile, AL shop. You will perform brakes, oil changes, and various maintenance tasks, educate customers on preventive care, and ensure quality service.

You will earn an hourly rate plus a commission percentage standard across the company. Candidate should have at least two years of related experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine tickets, notes and other correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers.
• Valid Driver's License; state emission and vehicle inspection certifications if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnoses vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection.
• Examines vehicles to determine if further work is needed or recommended.
• Documents all work performed and recommended; road tests vehicles as needed.
• Keeps shop areas neat, clean and organized; handles tools and manuals properly.
• Complies with safety regulations and company guidelines; reports safety issues.
