Job summary
Jiffy Lube International in Austin, TX is seeking an Automotive Technician to service guests’ vehicles, perform brake work, and deliver top-quality automotive repair. You will gain comprehensive training and be part of a team focused on safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of automotive experience, plus ASE certifications in brakes and engine performance. The role includes a full benefits package and opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced service
Qualifications
- 1-3 years automotive experience.
- 1-2 years brake systems experience.
- Provide training and supervision to store's apprentice teammate.
- ASE A5 brakes certification required.
- ASE certifications in engine performance, suspension & steering, electrical systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical repairs and servicing to guests' vehicles.
- Diagnose issues and communicate findings to guests.
- Use computer systems to provide estimates for parts and labor.
- Road-test vehicles before and after service to ensure quality.
