Team Car Care in Arlington, TX is seeking an Automotive Technician to service guests' vehicles and deliver top-quality work. You will perform a wide range of mechanical tasks, from brake and tire work to basic diagnostics, with comprehensive training and ASE-aligned certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive experience.
• 1-2 years of experience working on brake systems.
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in A5 - Brakes.
• ASE certifications in Engine performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning preferred.
• Automotive technical or trade school degree a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Ensure that the service center workstation is clean and presentable.
• Perform complete disc or drum brake service including replacing all braking components and full brake flushes.
• Diagnose and pinpoint issues in the braking system and related components.
• Diagnose issues in Engine Performance, Suspension/Steering, Electrical, Heating & Air Conditioning and perform necessary repairs.
• Use our system to provide estimates for parts and labor (All DATA, AutoZone, O'Reilly, NAPA, etc.).
• Road-test vehicles before and after work to ensure work is up to standard.
• Secondary duties may include lubrication, fuel service, tire rotations and gearbox service.
