Job summary

Brakes Plus in Texas is seeking an Automotive Technician to join a team that values teamwork and excellence. You will perform basic and advanced maintenance, inspect vehicles, and troubleshoot to keep customers safe and satisfied.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of auto service or engine diagnostic experience; ASE certification is preferred but not required. Must have your own tools, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' auto service or engine diagnostic experience.
• ASE Certification preferred but not required.
• Must have technician tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work while diagnosing problems.
• Inspect, replace and/or repair defective parts and perform preventative maintenance.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay current with automotive technology.
• Demonstrate company values in interactions with customers and team.
