Job summary

Group 1 BMW of Clear Lake is expanding and seeking Automotive Technicians of all skill levels to join a high-performing, quality-focused dealership representing the BMW brand.

We offer a four-day work schedule, modern equipment, manufacturer training, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous training or experience as an automotive technician (dealership preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs following dealership and factory standards.
• Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing of automotive systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.

Group 1 BMW of Clear Lake is expanding and looking to add Automotive Technicians of all skill levels—from entry-level and express technicians to experienced, flat-rate, and master-certified professionals! This is an opportunity to join a high-performing, quality-focused dealership representing the BMW brand. Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

• Previous training or experience as an automotive technician/mechanic (dealership preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
