Job summary

Gilder Search Group in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a B Level Automotive Technician for an independently owned repair facility. Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends, in a six-bay shop offering a production-tiered pay plan from $30–$40 per hour based on productivity.

You will work on Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles using modern equipment and digital inspections, with weekly pay and benefits after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Professional automotive repair experience with the ability to independently perform B-Level mechanical work.
• Experience with steering, suspension, brakes, tires, cooling systems, A/C, alignments, and general mechanical repairs.
• Ability to perform basic automotive electrical testing and diagnostics.
• Experience completing digital vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform steering, suspension, brake, tire, cooling system, and general mechanical repairs.
• Complete remove-and-replace (R&R) work and routine vehicle maintenance.
• Service and repair automotive A/C systems.
• Perform wheel alignments using Hunter alignment equipment.
• Conduct basic electrical testing and diagnostics to identify vehicle concerns.
• Complete digital vehicle inspections using Tekmetric.
• Perform quality-control checks and take ownership of repair accuracy.
• Follow established shop procedures while working independently and collaborating with the team.
