Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians. You will perform inspections, assist in repairs, and interact with customers to explain procedures and deliver quality service.

The role offers a sign-on bonus of $1000 and a flat-rate pay model. Earn between $16.63 and $24.99 per hour, with benefits including healthcare, paid time off, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires, reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certification (A1–A8) within first two years; company covers tests/fees and offers bonuses per passed test.
