Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles within our tire and auto service team. You will learn hands-on under seasoned techs, perform routine maintenance, and assist customers by explaining procedures and delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay is flat-rate with the potential to earn based on task completion. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Learn basic mechanical tasks and work under guidance.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections and tire repair.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment; tests/fees covered by company.
