Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO), part of Bridgestone Americas, is hiring an Automotive Technician in High Point, NC. The role supports our automotive service team with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, under guidance of experienced techs.

The position features flat-rate pay with pay range shown, opportunities for ASE certifications, on-the-job training, and benefits including health, vacation and a 401(k). A valid driver's license and basic automotive knowledge are required.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license and be able to drive company vehicles.
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair.
  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
  • Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance.
  • Install parts.
  • Road test vehicles.
  • Pursue ASE certifications within first two years; tests and fees paid by company; bonus for each test passed.
