Bridgestone Americas (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles under guidance, with hands-on learning and customer interaction to explain repairs and ensure quality workmanship. A strong mechanical aptitude is required, with opportunities to advance ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, and repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within the first two years; tests and fees paid by the company; bonus for each test passed.
