Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under supervision. The role involves hands-on learning, inspections, and customer communication to explain repair procedures and provide high-quality service.

The position offers a flat-rate pay model with a pay range of $21.00 to $31.56 per hour and opportunities to earn through region-based productivity.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical tasks can be learned on the job.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
• Reading, writing and math skills are required to perform duties.
• Preferred: ASE certification or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems; perform tire maintenance.
• Road test vehicles and report findings.
• Strive to obtain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (fees paid by the company).
