Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician in the United States. You will learn and perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work under guidance of senior technicians, with opportunities to interact with customers and provide high-quality service.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and fast-paced execution, with a flat-rate pay model and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Training and ASE certifications are supported.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services.
  • Basic inspections and testing related to vehicle systems.
  • Experience or ability to repair tires and perform basic repairs.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance.
  • Install parts and components as directed.
  • Road test vehicles after service.
  • Participate in ASE certification tests within two years.
