Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced setting. Learn foundational skills under seasoned technicians, perform routine inspections, and help customers understand repair procedures while delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role includes a performance-based, flat-rate pay model and supports ASE certification progress with company-paid tests.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Two years of automotive repair experience is preferred.
• Completion of Vocational-Technical School program or equivalent certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension and braking systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts as needed.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years (fees paid by the company).
