Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician in Coram, NY. You will learn and perform diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles under supervision, with opportunities to gain ASE certifications and advance within a fast-paced service environment.

This full-time role offers flat-rate pay, a strong benefits package starting day 1, and a path to professional growth through hands-on training and certification support.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license required to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Basic automotive maintenance knowledge including oil changes, inspections, tire repair.
  • Good reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance and rotate/install parts as needed.
  • Road test vehicles to verify repairs.
  • Aim to obtain ASE certifications within two years of employment with company support.
