Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Germantown, TN is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles under guidance from senior technicians. You’ll contribute to inspections, customer communications and high‑quality workmanship in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills.
  • Willingness to obtain ASE certifications within two years.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance.
  • Install parts.
  • Road test vehicles.
  • Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment; tests and fees covered by the company; bonus for each test passed.

Skills

Basic mechanical aptitude
Valid driver's license
Reading, writing, math skills
ASE certification willingness

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
ASE certification desired
