Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician in Knoxville, TN. Learn and perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance under guidance, with opportunities to obtain ASE certifications and advance within a fast-paced automotive service team.

You’ll contribute to high-quality workmanship, interact with customers to explain repairs, and work under a performance-based, flat-rate pay model that reflects regional productivity and fair minimum wage compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Understanding of basic automotive maintenance and tire repair services.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and braking systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles and verify repairs.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years (tests paid by company).
