Job summary

A leading automotive retailer in Cincinnati, Ohio, is looking for Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the role of Automotive Service Technician Apprentice. This position offers full-time employment under the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program, which provides training and hands-on experience. The selected candidates will gain skills in diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles while benefitting from GI Bill® approved housing allowances. A valid driver's license and military discharge are required.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs using Kia diagnostic procedures.
• Test drive vehicles and verify repair quality using appropriate tools.

Skills

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Experience in a mechanical or technical field

Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment
