Enterprise Mobility in Fort Lauderdale is hiring an Automotive Technician to service, repair, and maintain vehicles to our quality standards. You will perform inspections, execute maintenance, and manage parts as needed.

We offer competitive pay, a boot and tool allowance, and benefits. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work up to 40 hours weekly with a varied schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience in automotive repair.
• OEM training/certification OR 4 current and valid ASE certifications.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance as per manufacturers' specifications.
• Document work and maintain Repair Orders with parts used.
• Complete ADA installs as trained when required.
• Ensure safe, reliable vehicles after service.

Overview

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. This position is located at our Service Center 2601 S Federal Hwy Fort Lauderdale, Fl 33316

The pay range for this position is $28 to $38 / hour based on experience (Certifications/ASE/OEM). Our technicians receive a yearly boot and tool allowance.

We are currently hiring for the following schedules, working up to 40 hours per week:

Sunday: 10A-6:30P

Monday: OFF

Tuesday: OFF

Wednesday: 1:30-10P

Thursday: 1:30-10P

Friday: 12P-8:30p

Saturday: 7A-3:30P

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.


• Complete required manufacturer's training and perform warranty and recall repairs.


• Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.


• Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.


• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.


• Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.


• Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.


• May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.


• Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.


• Requires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.


• Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.


• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required.


• Follow proper procedures to comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required.


• OEM training/Certification OR 4 current and valid ASE certifications required
  
  
  
  • Hire with manufacturer training with agreement of obtaining 4 ASE certifications within 12 months of hire
  
  
  
  


• Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty proceduresis a plus.


• Must have a current and valid driver's licensewith no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years.


• No drug or alcohol relatedconvictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).


• A minimumof basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required.


• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require workauthorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.


• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.


• Must have High School Diploma/GED


• Must be at least 18 years of age.
