Enterprise Mobility, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands, is seeking an Automotive Technician in Reno, NV. The role involves performing car service, repair, and preventive maintenance to standards that ensure customer satisfaction.

You will follow manufacturer specifications, complete required training, and maintain repair records while working a full-time schedule with open availability between 4:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience in automotive repair required.
• Four current ASE certifications or OEM training required.
• ASE certifications must be from the A1 through A8 series, L1, or X1 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs and preventive maintenance are completed per manufacturer specifications.
• Complete warranty and recall repairs after training.
• Maintain vehicle repair history with Repair Orders.
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles after service.
• Follow part and inventory tracking procedures.
• Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostics.
• May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental standards.

The Automotive Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

The pay range for this position is $25 / hour to $37.50 / hour based on experience. (ASE/OEM/Certifications)

We are currently hiring for a full time schedule working up to 40 hours per week. We’re looking for candidates with open availability and able to work any day of the week and between 4:00 AM and 10:00 PM, as schedules may vary based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.
• Complete required manufacturer's training and perform warranty and recall repairs.
• Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.
• Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
• Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.
• May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
• Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Requires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
• Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required.
• Follow proper procedures to comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required.
• 4+ current and valid ASE certifications or OEM training/Certification
• ASE certifications must be from the A1 through A8 series, L1, or X1 certifications.
• OEM training/Certification accepted with the understanding that 4- ASE certifications must be acquired within 12 months of hire.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
• A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
