VIP Automotive Group is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician for Westbury Alfa Romeo/Maserati/Fiat. The role focuses on diagnosing complex automotive problems and performing advanced repairs in a high-performing service department.

Qualifications

• A-Level Automotive Technician experience required.
• Strong automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.

• ASE certifications preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical automotive concerns.
• Perform advanced diagnostics using dealership diagnostic equipment.
• Accurately identify vehicle concerns and determine repair procedures.
• Perform engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and electrical repairs.
• Complete maintenance and repairs per manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work on repair orders and stay current with bulletins.

Westbury Alfa Romeo/Maserati/Fiat, part of the VIP Automotive Group, is looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our high-performing Service Department.

Responsibilities

As an A-Level Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and inspections while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and efficiency.

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical automotive concerns.
• Perform advanced diagnostic testing using dealership diagnostic equipment.
• Accurately identify vehicle concerns and determine the appropriate repair procedure.
• Perform engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, electrical, and other major automotive repairs.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections.
• Complete maintenance and repair work according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform software updates, programming, and key programming when required.
• Diagnose and repair advanced electrical and computer-controlled systems.
• Accurately document all work performed on repair orders.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and Parts personnel to complete repairs efficiently.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Stay current with manufacturer technical service bulletins, recalls, diagnostic procedures, and new vehicle technology.
• Assist in supporting and mentoring other technicians when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Protect customer vehicles while performing repairs.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• A-Level Automotive Technician experience required
• Strong automotive diagnostic and repair experience
• Advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Ability to diagnose complex vehicle concerns
• ASE certifications preferred
• Manufacturer certifications preferred
• Experience with dealership diagnostic equipment
• Strong understanding of modern automotive technology
• Ability to efficiently complete repairs while maintaining quality
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
