Westbury Alfa Romeo/Maserati, part of the VIP Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our high-performing Service Department in Westbury, NY. The position offers strong earning potential, bonuses based on experience and production, and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical automotive concerns.
• Perform advanced diagnostic testing using dealership diagnostic equipment.
• Accurately identify vehicle concerns and determine the appropriate repair procedure.
• Perform engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, electrical, and other major automotive repairs.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections.
• Complete maintenance and repair work according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform software updates, programming, and key programming when required.
• Diagnose and repair advanced electrical and computer-controlled systems.
• Accurately document all work performed on repair orders.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and Parts personnel to complete repairs efficiently.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Stay current with manufacturer technical service bulletins, recalls, diagnostic procedures, and new vehicle technology.
• Assist in supporting and mentoring other technicians when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Protect customer vehicles while performing repairs.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.

A-LEVEL TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES

As an A-Level Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and inspections while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and efficiency.
