Position: Retrofit Technician

As a Retrofit Technician, you will complete repairs and corrections provided by engineering to make vehicles safely saleable. Additional diagnostics and repairs may also be required.

Salary: Starting at $20 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 3:30 pm.

• Perform basic to moderate automotive repairs.
• Remove and install various vehicle parts.
• Diagnose vehicle issues upon arrival.
• Program vehicle modules using a computer.
• Address unspecified vehicle problems with appropriate procedures.
• Follow Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values, supporting the company’s mission and vision.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic understanding of vehicle module programming via computer.
• Reliable team player.
• Basic hand and power tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, impacts, ratchets, grinders).
• Experience with battery chargers and maintainers.
• Experience with special equipment (hoist, transmission jacks, cherry pickers).
• Proper handling of vehicle fluids.
