Job summary

At DCH Kay Honda in Eatontown, NJ, Lithia Motors’ dealership group, we are hiring Class B Automotive Technicians. Earn a flat-rate pay of $28.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience, with potential incentives tied to production.

Schedule is full-time with weekend hours as needed. Qualifications include 2–5 years as a Class B technician, ASE and manufacturer certifications, experience with scan tools and service information systems, and strong engine maintenance and electrical diagnostics

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of Class B technician experience in dealership or private shop.
• ASE and manufacturer certifications are up to date.
• Experience using scan tools and service information systems.
• Proficient in engine maintenance and basic electrical diagnostics.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and perform intermediate repairs such as brake, suspension and steering.
• Complete work accurately with safety standards and liaise with Service Advisors.
• Road-test vehicles to verify service quality.
• Document services and recommendations clearly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and care for tools.
• Support the service team with additional maintenance tasks.

What You'll Do:

Total Rewards

The flat rate range for this position is $28.00 to $40.00. This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on production/productivity. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
