FastLap Group in Natick, MA is seeking a skilled B-Level Automotive Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across vehicle systems while delivering outstanding customer service and quality workmanship.

You will diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicles, perform maintenance per manufacturer specs, and uphold safety and documentation standards. This role emphasizes teamwork, continuous improvement, and career growth within a high-performing shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to independently complete most repair orders.
• Own basic technician tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicle concerns and verify repairs through testing and inspections.
• Perform maintenance services per manufacturer specifications and conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections.
• Communicate vehicle concerns and repair recommendations clearly; assist service advisors and collaborate with teammates.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship while achieving productivity goals and follow safety policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do

Diagnostics & Repair

• Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicle concerns
• Perform brake, steering, suspension, cooling system, and drivability repairs
• Troubleshoot electrical and engine performance issues
• Utilize scan tools, testing equipment, and service information to identify root causes
• Verify repairs through testing and quality inspections

Vehicle Maintenance & Service

• Perform maintenance services according to manufacturer specifications
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections
• Identify and recommend needed repairs and maintenance services
• Maintain accurate repair and inspection documentation

Customer & Team Support

• Communicate vehicle concerns and repair recommendations clearly
• Assist service advisors with accurate repair information
• Support and collaborate with fellow technicians
• Help less experienced technicians when needed

Quality, Safety & Productivity

• Maintain high-quality workmanship while achieving productivity goals
• Follow company safety policies and manufacturer repair procedures
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional
• Minimize comebacks through accurate diagnosis and repairs

Required Qualifications
