Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Service Technician to sit onsite at an Electric Vehicle client in Plainview, NY. You will diagnose, maintain and repair vehicles, demonstrating a passion for sustainable transportation and quick problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

The role expects ASE certifications within 6-8 months of hire, with the client reimbursing the cost upon successful completion. A valid driver’s license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years as automotive service technician including EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of High Voltage, Low Voltage systems and EV powertrains.
• Customer facing with strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to use Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
• Willingness to complete CPR training after hire.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions in the past year; drivers under 21 require longer license history.

*Huge plus if you obtain ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4 - ADAS) and Experience in luxury automobile repair environments

Must Haves:

• Willingness to complete provided CPR training post hire
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. (Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Client Training upon hire)
