Job summary

EchoPark Automotive in Nashville, TN is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team. Our technicians enjoy guaranteed pay, a collaborative and casual work environment, and a great place to grow as we expand.

To excel in this service role, you will need excellent customer service, clear communication, and attention to detail, performing repairs and inspections on a range of pre-owned makes up to 12 years old. You’ll handle 190-point inspections and system repairs in a busy shop.

Qualifications

• State certification where applicable.
• 6+ months automotive mechanic experience or Auto Tech school certification.
• Own a set of tools and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards.
• Complete 190-point vehicle inspection and required maintenance tasks.
• Repair brakes, suspension, A/C, gasket and other components as needed.
• Maintain quality, safety and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

WhatYou’llDo:

The Automotive Technicianis responsible forperforming vehicle repair and maintenance work as assignedin accordance withdealer and factory standards. Our technicians inspect and repair a wide range ofpre-ownedmakes and models up to 12 years old.

• 190 Point Vehicle Inspection
• Lube, filter, flushes
• Brake system and tire repair
• Suspension and alignments
• Vehicle Drivability
• Air Conditioning Diagnosis and Repair
• Gasket and Seal Repairs

WhatWe’reLooking For:

• Must be state-certified where applicable
• At least 6 months ofpreviousAutomotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification
• Own a set of tools
• Valid driver's license anda good drivingrecord
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn
• Respect for teammates and a positive outlook
