Job summary

EchoPark Automotive Charlotte is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. We offer a collaborative and casual shop environment with guaranteed pay and bonus potential, not a flat rate.

The role emphasizes customer service, communication, and attention to detail. You will perform repairs and maintenance to a range of pre-owned vehicles up to 12 years old, including inspections, brakes, suspensions, and A/C diagnostics.

Qualifications

• State certification where applicable.
• At least 6 months of automotive mechanic experience or Auto Tech School certification.
• Own a set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work per dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.
• Conduct 190 point vehicle inspections, oil changes, brakes, tires, and suspensions.
• Address air conditioning diagnosis and repair and light line work such as gasket replacement, seals, water pumps, and alternators.
• Occasionally assist with heavy line work, engines, and transmissions as needed.

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. What You'll Do:

The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Our technicians inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.

• 190 Point Vehicle Inspection
• Lube, filter, flushes
• Brake system and tire repair
• Suspension and alignments
• Vehicle Drivability
• Air Conditioning Diagnosis and Repair
• Light Line work to include - Gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pumps, and alternators
• Occasional heavy line, engine, and transmission removal and installation, no rebuilds or overhauls

What We're Looking For:

• Must be state-certified where applicable
• At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification
• Own a set of tools
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment
