Job summary

Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships is seeking entry-level to master automotive technicians at our Mansfield, PA location. You will diagnose and repair a range of vehicles, perform emissions inspections, and complete maintenance while maintaining records and a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• PA State Inspection Certification is required.
• Comfortability with all makes and models of vehicles.

• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/kneel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles as assigned.
• Perform emissions inspections and safety checks as required by state regulations.
• Carry out brakes, suspension, tires, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly to the service group and advisor.
• Record all services and repairs in vehicle history.

A Day in the Life of an Automotive Technician (but not limited to):

• Diagnosis and repair and accurately perform all repairs and maintenance
• Execute emissions inspections, safety checks, and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations
• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and all manner of automotive repairs, that you are tasked and qualified to perform.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the group leader and service advisor on recommended repairs and maintenance
• Preserve vehicle records by recording all services and repairs performed and recommended
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment
