Job summary

Honolulu Buick GMC Cadillac is hiring experienced service technicians. Join Lithia & Driveway, a national auto retailer, and contribute to a high-output team in Honolulu. This is a full-time, on-site role with a flat-rate pay structure and opportunities for incentives.

You’ll diagnose, repair, road-test, and document work, while maintaining safety standards and tools. ASE or manufacturer certifications are preferred, and a strong customer-focus helps you drive life-long relationships.

• Pay: $30-$55 Per Flat Rate Hour
• Schedule: This is a full-time opportunity. We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. To be successful in this role, you will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak business periods and important opportunities for maximizing earnings.

What You’ll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, observing Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results and time, per company recording and clocking procedures.
• Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools.
• Align with company initiatives and benchmarks. Champion one another’s growth to achieve more together.

What You’ll Bring

• We require 2+ years prior automotive repair experience
• We prefer ASE and manufacturer certification.
• Desire to produce and be part of a high-output team.
• We want you to help us earn customers for life by creating welcoming and trust experiences for our customers.
• Working knowledge of computers and technology. Comfortability in navigating computer and dealership technologies.
• Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge to grow with us and meet projected service goals.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence

Total Rewards

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on Production Productivity

The average wage range for this position is $30.00-$55.00 per flat rate hour

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
