Lindsay Chevrolet of Front Royal is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Front Royal, VA. This role focuses on maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure safety and performance for our customers’ vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in automotive repair is preferred.
• Virginia Safety inspection license preferred.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician with knowledge of automotive systems.
• ASE certification or equivalent credentials are a plus.
• Proficiency using diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension).
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems or safety concerns.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot concerns and recommend repairs.
• Explain repair procedures and provide accurate cost estimates to customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols and regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with automotive technology and participate in training as needed.
