Job summary

Lindsay Chevrolet of Front Royal is seeking a motivated Automotive Technician to perform routine maintenance and diagnose vehicle issues in a clean, air-conditioned shop in Front Royal, VA. Responsibilities include oil changes, diagnostics, repairs across engine and electrical systems, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in automotive repair is preferred.
• Virginia Safety inspection license preferred.
• ASE certification or equivalent credentials are a plus.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve automotive issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems or safety concerns.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot concerns and provide accurate cost estimates.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and costs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow regulations.
