Job summary

Jiffy Lube in Elmwood Park, IL seeks Automotive Technicians for full-time and part-time opportunities. No prior automotive experience is required; hands-on training is provided through Jiffy Lube University. You will learn and perform routine maintenance, from oil changes to basic tire services, in a fast-paced team environment.

We value reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Valid driver's license is preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform routine automotive maintenance services.
• Perform oil changes and replace oil and air filters.
• Check and service vehicle fluids.
• Perform tire pressure checks and basic tire services.
• Inspect vehicles for leaks and other maintenance needs.
• Under-vehicle inspections and services.
• Lubricate chassis and grease fittings.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace.
• Use automotive tools and equipment safely.
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers.
• Work as part of a team to complete services efficiently and correctly.

What You'll Do

As an Automotive Technician, you'll learn and perform a variety of routine automotive maintenance services, including:

• Perform oil changes and replace oil and air filters
• Check and service vehicle fluids
• Perform tire pressure checks and basic tire services
• Inspect vehicles for leaks, fluid levels and other maintenance needs
• Perform basic under-vehicle inspections and services
• Lubricate chassis and grease fittings as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
• Use automotive tools and equipment safely
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers
• Work as part of a team to complete services efficiently and correctly

You'll receive hands-on training and access to Jiffy Lube University to help you develop your automotive knowledge and skills.

As you gain experience and certifications, you'll have opportunities to advance into additional automotive and leadership positions.
