Job summary

Jiffy Lube is hiring in the United States for a full-time automotive technician role. You will perform Signature Service oil changes, complete 17-point inspections, and handle routine maintenance tasks such as filters, wipers, and tire rotations.

Role requires steady hands, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to learn through on-the-job training. Competitive starting pay is offered with bonus potential and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service experience preferred, minimum 1 year at a dealership, repair shop, tire center, or quick lube.
• Strong candidate with some automotive experience or Vo-Tech training will be considered.
• Perform Jiffy Lube Signature Service oil changes.
• Conduct 17-point inspection visual checks.
• Service basic items like filters, bulbs, wipers, and tire rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine oil changes and maintenance services as part of daily shop duties.
• Assist with fluid flushes and fillings including coolant, transmission, and power steering.
• Maintain tools and shop area; support team to ensure quality service.

Physical Qualifications:

• Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic shop equipment
• Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience is preferred with a minimum of 1-year automotive service at a dealership, repair shop, tire center, or quick lube. However, we will consider a strong candidate with some automotive experience or Vo-Tech training.
• Job Duties Include, but are not limited to…
• Perform Jiffy Lubes’ Signature Service oil change
• Conduct 17-point Report On Condition visual inspection
• Service filters, light bulbs, wipers, tire rotations & other minor services
• Flush & fill coolant, transmission, power steering and other vital fluids
• Perform daily shop clean-up and maintain tools and equipment
