Job summary

Jiffy Lube is hiring automotive technicians in Addison, IL. No prior automotive experience is required. We provide hands-on training and access to Jiffy Lube University to help you learn the skills you need to succeed.

As a technician, you will perform oil changes, replace filters, check fluids, inspect for leaks, and perform basic under-vehicle services. We offer full-time and part-time positions with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on role.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Valid driver's license preferred for driving duties.
• No prior automotive experience required; training provided.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform routine automotive maintenance services.
• Execute oil changes and replace oil/air filters.
• Check and service vehicle fluids and tire pressures.
• Inspect for leaks and service needs; assist under-vehicle tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Use tools safely and provide friendly customer service.
• Collaborate with team to complete services efficiently.

What You'll Do

As an Automotive Technician, you'll learn and perform a variety of routine automotive maintenance services, including:

• Perform oil changes and replace oil and air filters
• Check and service vehicle fluids
• Perform tire pressure checks and basic tire services
• Inspect vehicles for leaks, fluid levels and other maintenance needs
• Perform basic under-vehicle inspections and services
• Lubricate chassis and grease fittings as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
• Use automotive tools and equipment safely
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers
• Work as part of a team to complete services efficiently and correctly

You'll receive hands-on training and access to Jiffy Lube University to help you develop your automotive knowledge and skills.

As you gain experience and certifications, you'll have opportunities to advance into additional automotive and leadership positions.
