Job summary

Jiffy Lube in Chicago is hiring Automotive Technicians for full-time and part-time roles. No automotive experience required; we provide hands-on training and access to Jiffy Lube University to develop your skills.

As part of the team, you'll perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, tire pressure checks, and basic inspections. We value reliability, willingness to learn, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Growth opportunities available.

• No automotive experience required; training provided.
• Must be reliable, dependable and willing to learn.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; operate tools and equipment safely.

We are looking for dependable, motivated people to join our team as Automotive Technicians. Whether you have automotive experience or are looking for your first opportunity in the automotive industry, we'd like to talk with you.

What You'll Do

As an Automotive Technician, you'll learn and perform a variety of routine automotive maintenance services, including:

• Perform oil changes and replace oil and air filters
• Check and service vehicle fluids
• Perform tire pressure checks and basic tire services
• Inspect vehicles for leaks, fluid levels and other maintenance needs
• Perform basic under-vehicle inspections and services
• Lubricate chassis and grease fittings as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
• Use automotive tools and equipment safely
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers
• Work as part of a team to complete services efficiently and correctly

You'll receive hands-on training and access to Jiffy Lube University to help you develop your automotive knowledge and skills.

As you gain experience and certifications, you'll have opportunities to advance into additional automotive and leadership positions.
